The term "ethics" refers to the moral principles that govern a person's behavior or the conducting of an activity. But what exactly counts as Common Sense Ethics? PDH Now defines Common Sense Ethics as the principles needed to live an ethical life and build a desired professional reputation as a Professional Engineer. 

PDH Nows Common Sense Ethics PDH course discusses ethical issues and theories. It covers the human nature of ethics, ethical issues, ethical theories, and a common sense approach to ethics. The course concludes with an evaluation exam covering all four chapters of the text.

Upon completion of the course the learner will be able to discuss and apply a common-sense approach to ethics including the human nature of ethics, ethical issues, and ethical theories.Based on the common-sense approach presented, show at least two different appropriate decisions when faced with an ethical dilemma. Select and support an ethical course of action using the common-sense approach presented.
