Continuing Education or PDH is known as CPC in Mississippi
A summary of the professional engineering continuing education requirements mandated by the Mississippi Board of Licensure for Professional Engineers and Surveyors can be found here.
Mississippi professional engineers are required to complete 15 continuing education hours annually with completion date of December 31 every year.
The Board does not pre-approve PDH providers or specific PE license renewal courses. Each professional engineer must determine whether an activity meets the Board’s requirements. Call PDHNow with any questions regarding specific courses.
Any qualifying course or activity with a clear purpose and objective which will maintain, improve, or expand the skills and knowledge relevant to the registrant’s field of practice in engineering. For all Mississippi professional engineers, at least 1 PDH must be earned in Ethics training every two years. Online continuing education is accepted by Mississippit. There is no limit to the number of professional development hours that can be earned, and a maximum of 15 PDH may be carried forward into the next renewal period. Excess engineering ethics credits may not be carried forward.
