Iowa Professional Engineer License Renewal Deadline is December 31

Iowa provessional Engineers are required to complete 30 PE PDH hours biennially. The Iowa board does not require approval of PDH providers or PDH courses, instead the professional engineer must determine if the PDH course meets the requirements.
Two PDH must be completed in the area of professional engineering ethics and Iowa allows up to 15 PDHs in excess of the 30 PDH requirement to be carried forward.
