Arkansas requires a minimum of 30 PDH each biennium with the period of the biennium based on the last digit of the PE licensee’s number. Arkansas allows up to 30 PDHs earned in excess of the required 30 to be carried over to the next renewal period. Identical requirements are in place for Arkansas Professional Land Surveyors.
Arkansas does not require approval of providers of continuing education or continuing education courses. The PE continuing education requirements for Arkansas will be deemed as satisfied when a non-resident licensee certifies to being licensed in and having met the mandatory requirements of any jurisdiction approved and listed by Arkansas.
Arkansas enforces compliance by auditing 2% of the number of licensees who have renewed.
