Nevada Professional Engineers must renewal PE license by December 31, 2024

Nevada Professional Engineers must meet the following requirements for the December 31, 2024 PE license renewal:
- Continuing education: Complete 30 Professional Development Hours (PDHs) every two years.
- PDH content: Two hours must be in professional ethics, and one hour must be in chapter 625 of NAC and NRS.
- PDH carryover: A maximum of 15 PDHs can be carried over to the next renewal period.
- Renewal dates: Renewal dates are based on the first letter of your last name. For example, if your last name starts with A–E, your renewal date is January 1 of an odd-numbered year.
- Late fees: A $100 late fee applies.
- Home state rule: If you live in another state with similar PDH requirements, you can report proof of your current license to satisfy Nevada's continuing education requirements.
- Record keeping: Maintain continuing education records for at least three years.
If you are also a licensed land surveyor, your 30 PDHs must include 10 hours related to engineering and 10 hours related to land surveying.
