Missouri and Nebraska Professional Engineer License Renewal due dates are quickly approaching. December 31, 2019 is the PE license renewal and continuing education completion deadline. PDH Now is offering several discount codes to help you meet your PE CEU requirements.
Missouri Professional Engineers
Missouri requires 30 PDH per biennium and allows up to 15 PDH in excess of the 30 PDH requirement to be carried over to the next biennium. The biennium is based on the year of licensure with those being originally licensed in even number years to renew December 31st of even numbered years.
Missouri does not approve providers of continuing education or courses but suggests the following on its web site:
With the broad range of opportunities to earn PDHs, it is up to the licensee to determine whether the activity qualifies under this Board’s requirements. For example, programs presented on topics that are not relevant to your profession should not be claimed for PDH credit. The Board has final approval of PDH credit.
Missouri enforces continuing education requirements by conducting random audits.

Nebraska Professional Engineers
Nebraska requires 30 PDH per biennium and allows up to one-half of the required credits to be carried forward to the next biennium.
Although Nebraska does not approve providers of continuing education, Nebraska has significant restrictions on web based continuing education. Those restrictions are set forth in Policy 14.09 and copied below.
Web-based offerings other than those provided by
- International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) approved providers,
- institutions of higher education that have an accredited program in architecture or engineering,
- professional engineering or architectural societies, or
- government agencies
will only qualify for continuing education under self-guided report submittals and are limited to 25% of the required hours for an architect or professional engineer.
The following "CE Requirements" link contains answers that attempt to explain this unusually restrictive policy.
PDH Now is a provider of continuing education in Nebraska for up to 25% of the required professional development hours. Start earning the PDH credits you need for your Nebraska professional engineer (PE) license renewal.
