Kansas requires 30 PDHs per biennium with the biennium for professional engineers whose names begin with A-L in even numbered years and M-Z in odd numbered years. The PE license renewal must be completed before April 30 each year. 

Kansas now requires, at a minimum, 24 of the required 30 CEUs shall be related to health, safety, property, and welfare (HSPW), and a maximum of 10 HSPW CEU may be obtained in a 24-hour period.  A maximum of 5 self-study CEUs may be applied in any one renewal period.
